Hotel Lucerna Culiacán

Nice hotel and perfect location. Air conditioning is dated and very noisy. WI-FI needs immediate attention. It's slow and unreliable. And yes, I have to agree front desk staff needs training, they do not match the establishment.

Next to the mall and restaurant. Quiet on the back side of the hotel. The front of the hotel gets a lot of noise from road. Could use better sound proofing. May look dated but the Internet is fast. Breakfast has vegetarian options.

Very nice hotel. Lovely building. Food was very good and room are well appointed. Rates to go up during special events but this is common for most hotels. Staff spoke much better English than I spoke in Spanish

Great place to stay. Centrally located and it’s supposed to be one of the best hotels if not the best in the city. Great stay, similar to Monte Carlo, Mirage or Treasure Island in Las Vegas. A little pricey but worth it. It’s my family’s home town & I came to visit for my cousins wedding & decided to stay here. Loved it.

This was my first time staying at this hotel and my first time visiting Culiacán. This hotel exceeded all of my expectations. The stop was personable and very attentive. I would definitely stay here again.

Updated review: While the staff insisted on the wire transfer before we arrived at the hotel, we ended up showing up hoping for the best without the wire transfer and the Hotel staff were gracious enough to honor our reservation and ultimately were still able to provide us with the treats. The stay was pleasant and I’m glad it all worked out because I was very stressed and worried that we would arrive and not have a hotel to stay at for the wedding. The hotel is beautiful, the room was comfortable and spacious, and the staff were great. I would stay here again and next time just not book any added services that require more than my credit card information prior to arrival. Previous review: Would give this place zero stars if I could. I booked a room online and got a call 4 days later saying that I needed to wire them the money for the room and I couldn’t pay with credit card. When I asked for them to cancel my reservation or modify, they also said they couldn’t because I booked online. It’s difficult to believe that in 2021 a hotel would still ask you to wire money to them because we chose a package that included breakfast and a few treats. Their customer service has made it impossible for me to fix the situation and I don’t know of any reputable hotel that would request a wire transfer like this.

I don’t write reviews, but this place truly sucked. Sheets (white comforter to be exact) had blood stains. I complained and their solution was to move me to another room that smelled like if it was just fumigated. I asked to be moved back to the first room, after 10 min in that second room I started feeling sick. They did move me back and they changed the comforter, that must have came from the smelly room because it smelled like strong chemicals and it had more bigger blood stains than the first. Personnel is nice, but unable to take appropriate correction action. The building is beautiful, it has good location and room decor is appealing. However, none of this matters if they have disgusting bedding and horrible smelling rooms. Hope someone in charge takes note and hire a cleaning and disinfecting crew -it is really a shame to let hygiene go down in this place.

Great service, great food and awesome staff. Shout out to Cristian, he went above and beyond with his service. We traveled with a baby and he helped us as if we were family. Carlos also was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was awesome and complementary bites during happy hour were great.
